Hollywood Burn will feature in Other Cinema's opening program for their Spring Season, a session devoted to the right to remix: "We’re proud to premiere what could very well be the anthem of the anti-SOPA subculture, Soda_Jerk's Hollywood Burn, a 45-minute battle-cry that has cult classic written all over it". The program will also includes works by Rodney Ascher, Animal Charm and an audiovisual performance by Softserve & Goldwave.

Contraband Cinema at the Plaza Theatre, Atlanta, USA
Scheduled to conflict with the broadcast of the 2012 Academy Awards, Hollywood Burn will screen as part of Contraband Cinema's SKIP THE OSCARS at the Plaza Theatre. The work will be accompanied by anti-Hollywood, anti-copyright shorts by American artists Adam Bruneau, Anna Spence and Bland Hack.

Sydney's Taylor Square will be transformed into a bicycle-powered outdoor cinema which will host a screening of Soda_Jerk's Hollywood Burn. Curated by Katrina Schwarz, the event Burn Baby Burn will also include short video works by UK artists Emily Wardill, Elizabeth Price and Sophie Lisa Beresford, and Australians Todd McMillan, Liam Benson and John A. Issue 5: Eleventh Hour
The latest issue of Ampersand features Soda_Jerk's Mystic Truths, a neon artwork commissioned for the facade of the former Paramount Pictures building in Sydney. This permanent public artwork was documented for the magazine by William Mansfield. Soda_Jerk's new single channel video The Popular Front considers the social and political connections between contemporary internet culture and the counterculture movement of the 1960s.

Soda_Jerk have been commissioned to make a neon artwork for the facade of the historic Paramount Pictures building in Surry Hills, Sydney. This inter-war Art Deco building was erected in the 1930s as the headquarters for Paramount Pictures in Australia, and still lies the old projectors in the basement screening room. Soda_Jerk's permanent public artwork has been commissioned as part of Motion / Pictures, an exhibition presented by Gallery A.S with the Former Paramount Pictures Building. Curated by Joseph Allen Shea, the show will honor the rich history of the building and pull focus on the intersection of cinema and art.
